Arm lift sculpting procedures, also known as brachioplasty. This is a fairly common surgical procedure to help remove loose skin and excess fat deposits that are stored in the upper arm of men and women of all ages. Over time and with age, your upper arm skin can become quite loose, pliable and flabby. We can provide arm lift and brachioplasty procedures in helping to tighten the skin, giving it a much firmer, leaner look and feel. Depending on the degree of the arm lift, we may also perform liposuction to help remove excess fat in the areas of the upper arm. It's a safe and effective procedure with minimal downtime and is just one of the many services and procedures offered.

For example, loose skin of the upper arm is quite often related to extreme weight loss, such as with individuals who have already undergone gastric bypass. Moreover, after significant weight loss, the skin often fails to tighten enough, resulting in it sagging, which can create a very unsightly look and feel. Thus, the only real and effective way to improve this problem is through an arm lift or brachioplasty. There are two type of brachioplasties that can be performed and it depends on how much skin looseness and laxity there is. The mini brachioplasty procedure may be performed when there is small amount of skin laxity. In these cases an incision is made with in the arm pit and along the arm pit crease. Liposuction is performed during this procedure for additional contouring of the arm. A full brachioplasty is required when there is excess skin and fat through out the arm. An incision is made along the inner aspect of the arm and excess skin and fat is removed. This incision is well hidden and will not be visible with the arms at the side in a resting position.
